Hello mate. Couple of queries if that's ok...

How come you are selling the pump?

What volume pond was it heating?

Thanks for your time.

I am selling because due to a change in circumstances im no longer able to afford to run it really its a good heatpump and cheap at the price runs well and copes with winter temps down to _15

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Sorry, i am interested but like yourself, i am not well off.

So is it ok if i ask roughly how much the running costs were please?

What was the pond size?

And are you insulated and/or covered?

I've got an electric heater already, just never turned it on as the potential cost terrified me. I don't want to get this and be in the same situation.

Thanks mate.

Pond is covered in winter with an aquosis cover kept pond at 14 during einter last year the worst months tend to he january and february on average during these months cost was 20 pounds per month in summer half that sometimes less its by far the cheapest eay to heat a pond during winter stability is what you want so really you could take it down to 8 degrees and runnimg costs substantially less

I'm almost sold mate. I have been advised to ask if it will heat down to -15 and if it has A410 gas in it?

I've no idea what A410 gas is but thats what one of my experts (people who have a heat pump) says.

I have PM'd 3 users on another forum. If 2 out of 3 (or 3 out of 3 obviously) advise me to go for it, i will do. Is that fair?

My pond is only 2400g at the mo but will be re-vamped next year.

I'll let you know the verdicts as they come in. Hopefully should have a decision tonight.

Cheers

Hi mate. Only heard back from 1 and he says go for it.

Has it got that A410 gas mate?

How do you want to sort the payment and that out?

What town do you live in mate?

I only came on today to get Duncans book ! :-)

You gone to bed mate? I'll pm you my details. Don't worry about the other two votes. The first one convinced me.

The A410 gas is the deal breaker though. I will try to find out if it has to have it or has to not have it !
