(Struggling with a slow internet Wifi connection at the mo)

Had a great day today, what a day

Went to Matsue first thing, some great Koi there. I've put a few pictures up below so you can see some of them.

After going through the Nisai, we then had a dip into some Tosai.

Chose these 5

Had a great bit of lunch as well, then we've just been out for a load more grub as well. We are now at Yamatoya's after another 2 1/2 hour drive. This time we ate in a converted temple, real Japanese setting, with Yamatoya San as our host.

Mike San and Dodgy San having lunch

Another very happy dealer with his Poster

And even a signature in Japanese writing on another poster. We intend to get this poster signed by all the dealers, then will probably auction it for the KHV charity. This will be a real 1-off poster.

Hi everyone

We went to this AMAZING restaurant tonight!

I should imagine it was an old temple, but it was simply amazing. There are not many things that I struggle to write about - but that place will be one!

Originally an old temple, men only, a fire used to be in the middle of the building that was tended to by servants of the "monks" that used to live there. Once upon a time it was almost a self contained town, areas for disipline, talks and discussions, advice area, eating and enjoyment, one area was used to contain people, like a prison.

I have said I will upload all the pictures, but there are too many (about 150) to put on here, so will put them on my blog so everyone here can copy them - all our batteries went flat tonight, maybe it was the incredible atmosphere there!

We are heading back to Tokyo tomorrow, and leaving the muppets to their own devices. It is about a five and a half hour trip back to Tokyo from where we are, so I will have lots of time to think.............

I will write a long and lengthy round up of our few days with the muppet brigade, warts, gas, chewing gum, gateux bum, up chuck, tiny shower curtains, bob sleighs, roller coasters, hairy legs and all!

Actually, thinking about it............ Maybe not..................

Hey guys, not many comments, am I boring you???????? Give us a shout if you have anything to say, takes ages to load and write this in the little spare time we have between beers!!!!!!!

25 past midnight now, anyone want to read this stuff?????

OK, cracking day at Yamatoya today, this guy really breeds the top quality stuff, big Koi as well. We attended his Jumbo harvest this morning, young Gregg (his favourite) was roped in to help with the harvest, here his is in his gear.

Gregg was even entrusted to carry some of the large Koi out of the pond

Stack them and rack them, 24 big girls

Nice, one of the big ones

Nisai, just 2 of a whole lot of real top quality Koi with great potential

Yamatoya San with his poster, delighted. This breeder is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, a real genuine person. Yamatoya San was delighted to sign the original poster.

Hi guys, looks like u are all having a great time! Well done Greg I bet you enjoyed that experience................ had a conversation with Glen and Annette this afternoon whilst they were in an Irish Bar in Tokyo, whilst on the phone to Glenn someone tried to pick him up..............not not literally but there were a lot of working girls around at the time, or so I was told.

They both sounded very very tired.....how are u all doing needing to sleep, you will all need time of from work or school to recuperate! hahahah

I'll have that very nice nisai kohaku in the bowl if you can get it in your bags!

have a great time during the remainder of your stay............... have you bought anything yet???
