Thanks for your kind words people
The whole garden has taken six long years Gerry and the pond has been up and running since 2004.
We have removed over 200 tons of soil ,
Very few of our familys come near except when they are all dressed up in case they get given a job,
My neighbours are still under the impression its a nuclear fall out shelter.
here are a few more pics.

Hi Terry

What a lovley set up you have there mate. :D

Please do not think I am being picky ( its the plumber in me ), you want to change the brass ball valve to plastic.

Metals in the water and all that.

Great pond, any more photos :D

Regards

Thanks for pointing that out Andyb , no matter how careful you are there's always something that slips through , and I hate B&Q on a week end, :(

Hi Ted

Your not wrong there about the hours , its not till you build a pond that you realise the amount of work, and like I said before we started in 2000 at easter time and been at it evenings and weekends ever since, of course you do need a very understanding wife very understanding indeed she is to.
but It looks like I've got a bit of catching up to do on the house with decorating etc, still winter is close , roll on next spring..

Thanks Rich

When I look back at the photo albums even I feel surprised at the amount of work gone into it, dont think I could ever do it again but hopefully will never have to. :D
Still a few more ideas yet to finish the garden and rebuild the old shed into a quarantine house , when she lets me that is
