Cheers David, I did think you you actually, knowing you'd done your own fibreglassing.

I'll be around Saturday, drop me a PM may even meet you at KWC.

Finished off the glassing today and added a nice green flowcoat.

I quite enjoyed doing this and will do some more soon I think. It's even got me thinking about rebuilding my Q.pond pond and fibreglass it myself ........

Sven is due very soon to do the bottom drain bungs and lids, so it will all be back on by 8pm this evening - hooray!

I'm sure the pictures are self explanatory

Hi Gazza,

Yeah you can hardly seen where we'd been eh!

All switched back on now, the improvement in water level through the Vortex and Brush chamber is very good. Pond level is down by roughly 4" and once full I'll be able to measure the improvement.

Will check the Koi out properly tomorrow, a few were flicking earlier.

Looking for ideas for a dam big easy now!

May well try moving the brushes into the vortex now, the brush chamber is to be converted into an aerated K1/Bio disc chamber - another project after the easy and cone!

Bob,
Could you amend a washing machine inner? Seen one before on a string somewhere, is it any use?

Yes Scott's idea is one of the best around.

I dont know the size/diameter/depth of the unit, but it was pretty large.

Mine will need to handle 2 x 6" outlets from the side/top and a throughput of 5000 gallons/hour - looks like I need to speak with Scotty!!!!!!
