Bob the deeper the pond gets the less grass wil be visible... :wink:
thanks for the motivation, if i get chance in the morn :wink: ng i will be out there again, bad news is the wife is at work so i have to run around after the little one all day....

why not put an advert in the local press for the topsoil... bag it up and sell it for £2.00 per bag... local enterprise is the key...

I have loads of room for the soil so i am going to use it for a bit of shaping seeing as the garden is pretty square, shapewise.. :wink:

Rich you ask if i have finished.... :o Rome wasn't built in a day mate.. :lol: plus i've been struck down all weekend with the flu,and with work commitments i can see it taking a while as its a case of doing bits when i can... :cry:

Hi Jason,

Just remember as you dig down it looks smaller so that when you start removing a bit more from the sides :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

It worked for me if you look at the pictures the new pond was going to be the size of the pergola and it grew a bit :wink:
