Simply Koi and More Koi

Hello all

My set up:
550 gallon round pond in ground, with 2" bottom drain to pump to above ground filter, compact sieve to a large deep brush to deep moving K1 chambers back to pond.

I have a superfish 8000 attached to the bottom drain that sits 1 foot below water level, what I want to do is move the pump from where it is now to a new location allowing me to fit a Sequence strainer basket before the new pump a superfish 12000, what should I be where of doing this?
