Rotoshower with sieve

Post by phill3344 »

Anyone used a Rotoshower with sieve. I have 2 bottom drains on my 2250 gallon pond I have a nexus 300 with upgrade on 1 drain thinking of putting one of these on other. Are they any good. The drains feed separate pumps can't gravity feed. Unless I dig a 5ft hole.

I'm afraid I have no experience with these but the concept looks good. The only question I have about the design is that, if the built in sieve couldn't be emptied for a while, (eg when the hobbyist was away on holiday), would there be any chance that accumulated debris on it could cause it to become sufficiently blocked that a significant amount of water would be diverted straight to waste. I'm not saying that I foresee this as a problem but I think it would be a good question to ask the dealer unless someone who has one can answer the question from their own experience.
