I saw Dunc painting some of the 'Lock 'N' Seal +plus' on the back of his hand on Sunday and then how sticky it really was - great stuff! This wont wash off easily and will allow any topical treatments to stay on underneath it.

Had to buy some, plus the Sedate. I already have some of the mouth & fin rot stuff, but as yet havent had to use it. One day though .......

Top quality treatments.

Can I ask what the shelf life is?
Because I hope I never need to use them, but if I do how long can they keep a) unopened and b) once opened?

Nice pictures Sir. I am dropping 2 bottles of Dechlor' off to a client tomorrow in Stoke on the way up to doris's. He saw them at the open weekend at Maurices and has requested some.

Good work mate.

hi folks
thanks for the kind words
i alwasy said i wopud not put my name to anything unless it did what it was supposed to adn so far with the grade of chemicals i have purchased these are AR grade and the mixtures topicals etc, i have been useing for years and have worked extremely well for me and my clients

Jane i am glad you raised this point because so every one gets a clean break i will have to

i just checked all the use by dates currently they are due to run out mid 2008 but i have to say in the case of most medicines a vet once told me that this is more in line with the legal side of things and that many will go waaaay past that mark, its kind of like sutures
for insatnce i have gentamycin and that can go waaay past the use by date, but when it goes straw coloured its no good at this point and the same does for many meds they will change colour

but to answer your question we are currently into mid 2008 exp date,
Duncan

Thanks Duncan, I will write 2008 on the tubs!
I noticed a post over on KC regarding some ?dodgy anaesthetic and wondered about shelf life. I know we all keep things "just for if" but for instance formalin can go off and if its in the premix (not yours) how on earth would you tell? that wont change colour and I bet you wont see cloudiness either.

too true
i never considered the premix FMG, mind you i'm a purist i ain't having anybody mix my stuff for me i like, no i insist on mixing my own mg&f from scratch, i can then tip the balance with the mix depending on what i want to achieve
