red pec

Postby daz2007 » Wed Jul 28, 2010 9:19 pm

had one of my koi out today as it has a small what i can only discribe as pimple about 2 or 3 mm in diam and slight reddening
of the pec beyond this have treated with iosal as it is all i had to hand. any ideas what it could be would be appreciated thanks.
koi is still feeding well and all parameters are spot on. also had trouble with flukes a few weeks back but all seems well now
apart from this one problem.

hi,

it does not look to sinister at the moment worth keeping an eye on though

it may be a dermocystidium but you will have to get a better picture closer up to it for a correct diagnosis

I can only please one person per day, today was just not your day, and tomorrow doesn't look that promising either!
