RO water blending

hello all, im at the stage of blending my ro water, im just wandering what readings i want to look at for the mixed water?

hi gaz, my readings are ph 8.2, tds113, kh2 and gh0. after reading what evryone has said and speaking to mike, i dont want my fish to finish too early and good water for them. i need to know what readings i need out of the blended water.

Hi Tom,

We may need a bit more info on set up and size of pond and you also have to think where you want to run it and if you will be comfortable with it.

Many run their ponds with a PH of around 7.2 and a TDS around 150ish

hi gaz, pond is 2900, with nexus 200 on bd, bead on skimmer and shower on mid water drain, i tested my initial blended water and i was getting a kh of 1, gh of 3 and a tds of 85, is this any good

Are you sure you want to know :D :shock:

I don't blend i run the RO and then if needed either buffer with Bicarb or just fill up with a bit of supply water.

Hi Tom,

No problems with questions as this is what its all about mate :D

My water is very very hard so i have to be very careful as it can mess my pond up in no time so its very rare i use it.
