Graham,

"Thats short and sweet,if not a bit blunt. "

Sorry mate. Definitely did not mean to be blunt, as for "short and sweet" has Bob been talking again.

Sincere apologies, I was at work and just taking a short break to read/answer a few posts hence it was definitely rushed and as a consequence "short and sweet". The bluntness was probably inferred from the fact that it was short but I can assure you this was just due to time pressure rather than anything else.

There is a real danger that sometime we read too much into these posts.

Yes Graham, there will be shiro utsuri, kohaku, showa, sanke, hi utsuri, hariwake, platinum ogon, yamabuki and you guessed chagoi!

1200 tosai are in heated water at the moment, growing by the minute.

Did you notice on Maurice's website Newsletter an earlier picture of the young Showa that I had so much trouble posting on this thread, there is no doubting it is the same koi but the change is amazing. That is why Showa are my favourite variety.

At this point in time, it's my dream baby.

Time will tell if it will hang on?
