any breeding colour 'formulas'?

Hi all, Greetings from Australia 
I've kept koi for a while but ive never tried to breed them before, but im going to give it a try this year. I was wondering if there are any charts around that will give you an idea of what the offspring will turn out like from 2 particular parents. Also is it a 'no-no' to breed a Metallic with a non-metallic?
