CUTTLEBROOK GROW AND SHOW

Post by kimr »

Well I don't know how everyone is getting on with their Grow and Show, but I do know I havn't a hope in hell's chance, mine one is gorgeous, the orange is getting darker and he is growing slowly, but he has got to be the daftest feeder I have ever seen in my life, he hang's about 1cm under the food trying to suck it in, I want to put it in his mouth for him, by the time he get's a pellet's he is so warn out you don't see him again until the next feed. But he is now hand feeding when the prawn's are about, twice he has taken from me bless him :D
So come on everyone how is your's doing

Mine went into hiding for over 2 weeks. I thought I have lost it! It is still very shy and jumpy, but that is usual for small koi. Let's hope it does not keep this up for long as it is usually a sign that it is a male. Damn, I know I should have let you have it.

Hi David
Well you see, he is hiding from you because he wanted to come home with me
Hi Dave
Well he must just be a bit daft like my one and hasn't quite got the hand of this feeding lark, or he just doesn't like the pellet's you use
If he look's healthy he must be enjoying all the live food on offer.

Measured last week - Daisy's has grown 2.5cm and mine 2cm.

Mine also tooka jump when netting it, very fast and before I knew it it was out of the tank and on the floor. Luckily it has a safe landing as I'd recently fitted some new spongy flooring - no damage done.
