Kujaku Colouration

Post by Kumonryu_Kid »

Hi All,

Recently I've seen some fantastic Kujaku's at dealers with a deep cherry red colouration instead of the more usual Orange.

Can you tell me if this is something that changes or develops as the fish grows/changes condition, or is this something the fish is born with?

Have my eyes on a couple of babies and while they are beautiful, they are orange and I'd like to know if I can develop this colour or if I should keep my eyes out for something with a little deeper colour to start with.

Many thanks,
Gareth

Hi Gareth,

I think like most fish the potential has to be there in the beginning but anything can happen....and usually does in this hobby :?
