Simply Koi and More Koi

A question to the breeders please or anybody in the know.... At what age do Nishikigoi become sexually capable of spawning? Personally I thought around Nissai?

It's partly size related and partly age. I've got nisai females that have filled with eggs and have seen tosia males expressing milt. Never seen them actually lay eggs and fertilise them at that age though.
