A couple of chagoi some of you may remember

Post by Maurice »

At the last open weekend Oct 2005, there were a few small chagoi in the concrete ponds. These were not for sale and were only around 10cm-12cm.

Well when most of you went home, I had my arm twisted by a couple of friends, namely Duncan, Mike Snaden and Stuart Toms and they went away with one each. Duncan had the very best of the bunch!

The remainder stayed in the unheated concrete ponds until the last day of November when I added heat to their pond and a couple hundred of 2006 tosai were put in with them.

This photo is from a few weeks ago, they are now growing in the standard fashion of my chagoi. All are over 30cm now, doing well for 2 months in the warm!

How is yours doing Duncan?
