hi and welcome to koi quest , look forward to your new pond build in piccys ...we like lots of piccys on here and we dont bite , one thought though with a pond this big and well filtered is fibreglassing out of the budget and i dont see a lot of cost difference between a box liner and glass , might ...

koine , make your own easys , have look in the diy section i will see if i can dig a thread out or to to assist , if your on a budget and can save on the filters so much more to spend on the fish\pond....

more info on this solar panel would be appreciated ...build materials involved etc ...piccys would be nice

yes... used mainly for stripping ammonia from the water , used liberally in oase filters , can be used in showers or in bays ....when saturated with ammonia simply take out and leave in salt solution overnight to recharge wash off and away you go again .... ps if you need any ..i got 40 kgs in filte...

kim...cheap and koi dont really go hand in hand , but what interests me is you say one of your pumps went down ....i therefore assume that you have a two pump system which is something that i am a great believer in ....i.e. if one goes at least your still filtering ....for those who only run one pum...

michael\dave , the simple fact of cost must come into the equation here , whether to pump 3000 galls an hour over a shower , or two in this case or use high pressure to drive an aquadine ...then a nexus system ,even a diy built must be more cost effective in the long run ...obviously if money is no ...
