Re: Pergola and more!

A year on and I wonder what Scott's pergola look like now :?: Any piccies Scott :D Am really interested in doing a similar sort of project. I do like the roof you have done Scott. I'm thinking of roof shingles in copper as I really like that lime shade of green. Alas, I don't think I am patient enou...

Re: Automatic feeder

Ed,

Sorry, have been somewhat distracted with various other issues.

Thanks for posting the update and assessment. :D Still trying to work out how much it dispenses... a handful or more? What will you do send it back?

Re: QT

Andy, The piccies are great and really well done with the glassing and airlifts. My only small nagging worry for you, is how close to that tree you have located the QT and can it potentially fall over, or can the roots do any damage? Sorry to sound so pesamistic, really well done. Best, TicToc (in D...

Re: Air Up Lifts

Jane thanks for update. Crumbs, Hubby seems to have thought and tried everything. Andy – Explaining Boyles Law is akin to the offside rule in football for me. Also agree with Jane’s Hubby keep it simple. Your right Bubbles get bigger as they rise. The method that bests uses gravity in its pur...

Re: Pond build update

Alan, Haven't posted for a wee while  as I'm half way through workng on my design and build which is absorbing far too much time. Just caught up with your recent posts and Vippy's excellent air uplifts  . Anyhow well done Mukka, two years on, no leaks and looking good. Any regrets? Be...

Re: Cheap inline heater

As I have been reminded by many on several occasions, there's no such thing as a free lunch when using any electrical power  The reduction and efficiency of your time, kettle, pots and gas has to be a no brainer saving. Whats the burn rate amps wise of the dishwasher heater? Would it be worthw...

Re: Pond build update

Really good record of the build. Nice one Easylife. On one of your concrete pour photos I had thought you had completely covered up your Bottom Drain with concrete  Clearly not :D

Re: Cheap inline heater

Necessity is the mother of invention! After two weeks Pete you need a medal to go with your webbed Koi hands. Good thinking and execution.

Assume its a type of kettle bi-metal strip element with posh thermostat?

Re: Nexus advice please

Thanks Jules....mfs...mfs....mfs....pants? :D

After a bit of research I have found the ideal decking solution. No idea of cost yet, fingers crossed  but this should do the job nicely.

Re: Nexus advice please

Thanks Netsukeoi,

Readily accept those positive decking comments. Will have to research the design further as it needs to be waterproof and insulated.
