well i've built one of these air powered protein thingys and no matter how much air or how low in the water i put it i just can't get it to produce any foam!!! :cry: :cry: :cry:
does this mean the pond is void of the neccessary stuff or what?

if you take off the hole vortex/dust collection assembly and remove the top air filters you should be able to use all of the assembly. just attach a pipe from a pump on the inlet and another on the outlet and in theory away you go!! :shock: :shock: you might need a bit of sealing tape around the mai...

John, i have thought of that one and i even asked good old dyson themselves if it would work. their answer was that they made vacuum cleaners. (stroppy buggers) as far as i can see what works with air should work with water. the flow might need a bit of playing with and you would have to make it wat...

Hi all, now on the debate of whats a TT and whats a SHOWER? my understanding was a TT was fed from the last filter bay (clean water) and returned to the same last filter bay at a rate of 200/500gph, and a shower is fed directly from the pond and returned to the pond at a rate of 1 to 2 times the pon...

bob, are you just going to use a waterbutt or are you going to be more adventurous in your new found skill and make yourself a fibreglass one using the waterbutt as a mould. :wink: :D it'll be much stronger and long lasting :roll:

you certainly picked a cracking day for glassing. just don't put too much catalyst in with the resin or youll look away and when you look back youll have a solid block of resin with a brush sticking out..-
