Pond lighting - Is it a science?

Can any of you multi-talented Koi Questers out there  offer any advice re. lighting for the pond? I am toying with the idea of adding some light to the pond but I am not entirely convinced if would be worthwhile. Not sure about design, style or cost. Has anyone of you budding Questers built any...

Re: Koi Muppet's On Tour

Well done Lads, Some very good looking fish there. I always wondered quite how the logisitics of signing for them, picking them up and getting them home worked. I know that there's no magic involved but then again hand selected fish delivered from half way round the world is still quite an accomplis...

Re: Koi Muppets On Tour

Great photos Gazza & Bob et al. I can easily pick up a few ideas from these for my own small projects. What boils my blood looking through all those lovely landscapes is that there is no bamboo. Like the prize village idiot [whilst in a Japanese mood] I planted some and now wish I hadn't. ...

Re: Aquamax Eco failure. Suggestions?

Well there you go Estanque_ Koi. :D In no time at all a handful of posts, heresay though it may be reflecting Questers personal opinions; David's endearing words of the Far East and 'Chairmen' (I think he meant to say) from any nation might be the root cause of the Oase pump failure. DHO - Ears, hai...

Re: Aquamax Eco failure. Suggestions?

Hi Estanque_ Koi I have no further suggestions other than those submitted and summised by Questers already. Though there a lot of excellent advisors in the group. I would however be keen to know how long Oase have had the returned pumps and why they have not responded or maybe they have? It is feasi...

Nice one Vippymini. It still looks an excellent polytunnel.

Re: Koi Muppets On Tour

Had promised myself that I wouldn't take the bait and get all excited about a showl of Koi fanciers travelling to Japan. However, I find the Muppets on tour photos, all your postings and updates raises a wry smile. Keeping them coming, I for one enjoy reading them as much as I hope you do ...
