Agree with Gazza

I would have put mine in my filter if it wasnt a Nexus so inevitably it went in the pond. As long as you have a couple of feet of pipe it will be fine and you will remove DOC no problem

The 2 air stones are as far down the pipe as I could go, Id say about an inch from the bottom of it. I didnt find any difference with the waste pipe bellow the water in it or above it. Some days I will forget to empty it and it will just overflow.

Now Im confused  Whe I first got my pump fed 200, once I'd finished cleaning it I turned the pump back on and took the stand pipe/bung straight out causing the easy to take in water from the outer chamber and wandered why I was getting K1 floating in the centre pipe. A novel solution to the problem, and certainly very sensible if you're thinking of moving. The koi will love you for getting the PH down from 9! Chi Hi sorry not been around for a couple of weeks as sunny Cornwall was calling me. Chi, PH is now 8 you will be glad to hear. Well worth the time and ef...

Thanks Dave Ive worried a bit about this. It says on the warning label on the sails to take them down in high winds. By this I think they mean really strong winds. However in that crap weather we had the winds were quite strong and they stood up to it. Im not too bad where we are but if your in a ve...

Hi David yes its the same stuff mate. My immediate reaction when I opened the boxes, expecting some sort of material, was oh god I hope the look okay and stand up to the weather we get hurled at us here. On further inspection you realise just how strong and durable they are. If you look at the post ...
