Re: Flukes and another thankyou to Duncan
Hi Dave, Perhaps she is still a bit stressed and being chased around wont help but with a bit of luck it will settle down although the warm weather does make em a bit frisky :D I had a couple of girls who had a rough time through winter and i had to treat their sides after pulling scales and bugger ...

Re: Gill flukes and Flubenol
Hi ts, Although it is possible to use some chemicals together i personally like to treat with just one thing at a time to be safe. I have found that as long as you use the correct dose for the correct critter and use a "good" treatment that is mixed correctly it will work, the only times i ...

Re: tds
Hi Ron,
This will depend on your filtration and how often you clean it all and how much water you change.
So to help reduce you could clean out the filter extra and change more water and you should see the TDS reduce.

Re: Showa swollen and not breathing
Hi Stu,
Yes as you can see in the vid it does look nasty so it may be a bit of fingers crossed and a waiting game.
Did you have a good feel about and push to see if anything moves or comes out ?
The position is a bugger as its a moving part and these can always be troublesome areas.

Re: Flubenol 5%
Hi Pete, The dose rate for Flubenol is 1gm per 89 gallons mixed up with Acetone at 10ml per 1000 gallons (this is for UK gallons). The hardest thing is getting hold of it mate as a lot of places have stopped now due to it getting posted all over the Internet so you may have to try your vet but they ...

Hi Stu,
It could be a bruise as a fish will mark up if it bashes itself so will be a good idea to keep an eye on it.
