Re: Gill Flukes

A couple of questions regarding )one touch
I am referring to the one which has the antibiotic. One touch Oxy. My question is, can this be used where there are just a few raised scales and the scale are in tact. Or is this more for a full blown ulcer where some scales and dead tissue require removal. Also in the first instance is it still nec...

I have had recurring problems with gill flukes every season for the past 3 years. Always treated with two x Flubenol. Always to return about 6 weeks later. Re: On going problems Continued
Dave I was going to say try turning it off but obviously that's not an option now regards your fluke issue I think what has happened here is and I hate to say it is: you find one or two flukes and treat accordingly, but that's not what you should do after any fluke treatment ill bet I can find one ...

Re: On going problems Continued
Dave, do you have anywhere around your pond where birds can bath? Or frogs maybe. They are all carriers of parasites etc. Looks like Duncan might have a solution for your fluke problem. No not really. The pond is below ground level and therfore is at least 6" to 18" vertical fal...

Re: On going problems Continued
Why have you got a vortex before your nexus mate i personally would remove that and go straight from bottom drain to nexus i think your worrying a bit too much about waste removal if youve got the correct size pump on your bottom drain line you shouldnt get alot of waste settling in the pipe feedin...
