Lots of 2" stones.
Pipe to fit base with mm size holes
9" disk.
5" Japanese Ceramic Air Stones style.

I have found this GM Maxi Vortex Filter but it not cheap.

Were can i buy 4 ft, 5 ft deep fibreglass vortex chamber with stright sides no lips to use as a bio chamber for jap matting ?
I have a 3ft x 3ft chamber with two lips inside though im holding off using it for now.

Pond is 6ft x 3ft round with a surface of 28.26ft.
Filter will be bottom drain to compact sieve into a round brush chamber then into a round 33" W x 36" H Japanese matting biological .

Retro fit bottom drain gravity fed into a vortex and fit pump external of vortex to shower, in short as I need sleep.

After readong on here that its gallonage through a uv that matters and not gallonage of the pond to the watts of the uv. My turnover is 2000 gallons through a 15watt uv, I now have a spare 15watt uv to add to this makinkg 30watts (if thats right) should it be place in series or parallel ? Regards Ru...

I have a small 560 gallon pond and would like to know if its advisable go from bottom drain to compact sieve into K1 or should a brush chamber to used inbetween ?
