Good advice from the guys above and i think it comes to a personal decision on what ones you like at the end of the day.

One thing for sure is make sure you mix them correctly and if using Fluke m or Flubenol make sure you mix it with Acetone for it to work properly.

I think the auto flushing is a good idea on any system so well worth installing one.

I have got to sort my RO set up out as i have had some problems with pumps and the system is not doing to well at the moment and another job that needs tending

They have been hit fairly well over the last few months so i wonder if just letting things settle down and new water changes will help the fish settle down.

Well as you have changed lots of water i would sit tight and let the Telimin do its stuff and then do a water change at the end of it.

yes if you was using pre mixed stuff its rubbish and a waste of money so keep with the crystals and mix up when needed.
