Hi I would agree with Gazza a salt bath with heavy oxygenation will help to clear the gills is it possible you could have missed a parasite like Costia ? as these can be hard to find and could cause the symptoms you describe.

Wow what an improvement you have done a great job there just a light clean and treatment and you should be nearly there.

the bottom line here is did these critters really come in from somewhere or was they there all along? the truth is we all do scape and microscopic examinations and or treat till we find no parasites but the truth is its not that we have no parasites its that they are undectable and thats big differ...

Hi Duncan I had not thought of the resistance angle I was assuming something had changed,I think you may have a very good point with it being resistance makes sense when you think about it.
