According to the supplier the sed's are 5 micron, same as original. I will wait and see if the replacement original cart's improve anything before panicking! It's just that by any reasonable calculation it's highly improbable gazza could be getting 180 gpd, unless his input water is 17c or higher, s...

Gazza, I assume you meant 1000ml? (jug) My system is in the filter house which is brick built, pipe runs are a few meters for mains, run in plastic at 2m height for better heat retention. Jane, the calc is nigh perfect as you present it, even going the extra decimal place only takes it to 177.6 gpd....

I just measured the output into a jug, 1 ltr in 5 minutes and 16 seconds, or 2.5 gph. Which from the available information I would consider about correct. The spec is for...

OK Gazza and any others interested in RO, a lesson learned. I have just changed my carbon cartridges, again, less than 6 weeks life. The originals from RO man lasted a few months at least as I recall. There is either a dramatic difference in carbon cartridge performance at low water temps' or the Ca...

RO system query - mechanical
Good morning all, a little brighter today, the lord knows we need time to service our filters! Gazza, or indeed anyone with an answer will do! Apart from needing a cartridge change what else have you observed to cause the pressure switch to click in and out repeatedly? I only changed the sediment fi...
