Got to be the showa mate. That Kohaku is stunning but if I had to choose between both it would have to be the showa......when can I come and collect it then, cos you must need room in that pond of yours.

Not the best on these things delboy but for me, if I had to choose one, I would go for No 1, Both have good body shape and great shiro so it comes down to pattern and I really dont like the very solid heavy patch of sumi on the shoulder of Koi 2, no1 looks as if it will balance more and the pattern ...

Any other ideas? so Gazza is the media just chucked in straight into the bin or have you got some kind of support for it above the bin base. Guess you are using BHM but is there any other alternatives, just to keep costs down more than anything else, and what is the minimum flow people would recomme...

DIY T/T
Anybody got any ideas how to make a T/T from a rubbish bin. Its for my Q/T. I know Gazza did one but cant find any info and I wondered if any of you guys had done simular and had diagrams to show how you constructed it or photos.

Hi John Ive seen Gazzas set up and considering its only a bin it really does seem to work and if the little beauties I saw in the tank are anything to go by it works well, a lot depends on the media in it. Gazza has BHM which is SO expensive but when u see the results I recon its well worth it. AMAZ...
