So out of curiosity, if mixed with water, as recommended by a well known fluke treatment on the market, would the dose be ineffective?

Flubenol and Acetone or water?

Am I right in thinking Flubenol is ineffective if mixed with water and that Acetone is paramount?
Seems Acetoone a chemical to avoid if appropriate?

Gazz Have heard in the past damaged gills cant repair, will wait to see what others have to say. On the subject of gills, I once brought up on another forum the need to inspect gills when purchasing a fish, not easy unless you sedate the fish I know and equally understand dealer wont be happy in doi...

Thanks post, not looked into protein skimmers.
I too understood mixing water was more stable but do see the point of why mix in crap you are trying to remove.....head further in a spin now

Wondered what thoughts were on whether more beneficial to buffer by mixing source water with RO or buffering with Bicarb to achieve parameters/stability/KH?
I personally carry out the former, would be interested to know if there is a preferred way and why?
