The ****** aireated bottom drain is far better as far as i know, after a lot of advice I chose the ****** one .

If its really the only place for the pond and you want to be happy with the pond go for re-routing the sewer, I know its a lot more work but in the end you will be happy with the pond.

If I can find my pc lead for my phone then il get them on ,im all fibreglassed,glass to put in the windows and some plumbing to do for the pumps,filters to section off aswell.

if the mini digger wont cut into the clay to dig deeper then you can hire a electric breaker with a clay spade which will make hand digging easy,you really would be better with at least 6' of water depth if you can
