Hi all, at our last meeting it was discussed that a member had read that timers on skimmers was a bad idea, I have 2 skimmers on my pond with no baskets fed by an oase 16.000 to a sieve. The timer is set to come on for an hour at a time, 3 times a day. Am i doing more harm than good by using timers ...

Hi all. Have had my new Aquadyne up and running now for about 1 month its run in parallel at the moment with the old system just to make a smooth change over ,how long do you think i should leave it like this before I can cap off the old conventional system
