That sounds like your pump is too fast to me, as I have that happen if I start my pump to quick before there's enough water in the Nexus after a clean.

Never seen the 2PPM KMNO4 dose rates, is it very dangerous to use 2PPM and I can only think you use that high a dose if your still having problems after the 1.5 dose?

Hi Dave Sorry I didn't make myself very clear, and left it a bit so others can try and help with your on going problems, this is what I meant as you can get a build up of K1 and I try and keep every thing clean as possible.
