I am with you on the benching of the base Scottie - once there is a bed of fluff on the pond base it needs a good angle to roll anything into the bottom drain. What I like about the aerated drain is that it keeps the solids in suspension longer and more of it then seems to get down the drain rather ...

Thanks for the info. Changing the pipework is impossible as it is set in concrete but observing the water flows I don't think this is the problem. The pump doesn't drain the skimmer or drop the water level around the outside of the K1 below the inlet so the water coming in does seem to keep pace wit...

EazyPod veterans required
I have finally got my skimmer line up and running with an EazyPod in the middle but would like to seek some advice from anyone out there who has run one for a bit. The skimmer is a standard one with a 1.5" outlet which straight after a slide valve goes to 2" and then directly into the pod....
