Thanks for that the bit I cannot get my head round is that the boiler was running on thursday afternoon which runs on the same power supply as the air and the only other issue was a power cut some time during friday night.would they die in 14hrs without air

I have a kajaku thats has been sulking now for about 2 weeks he feeds well with all the others then goes into a corner and sulks the perameters are good PH is 7.5 ammonia 0 nitrite/nitrate 0 temp 20d I have scraped him till I am blue in the face and nothing shows.any ideas dunc

with all that filter wool in its improving day by day using filter wool like its going out of fashion but thats a small price to pay for a clear pond

I have filter wool in the nexus rtn and jap mat I have it in the skimmer as I said and now I have a bucket with holes in with a submergable pump running thro my wifes best tights plus I have done a 50% water change if that does not work I am converting it into a swimming pool with fish.the crap that...

it comes direct from the skimmer through filter wool which is in a very fine mesh basket (flour sieve)

Hi Sid all I have added is the bakki, in the last hour I have jammed some jap mat vertically in the nexus rtn. I have run the pond exactly the same from the start.
