bakki shower
hi well i am thinking of putting a bakki shower with bhm on our pond this summer :shock: and using a pipe pump (30,000 l) to feed it and leaving the rest of my filters running as they are doing now i will leave the shower running 24/7 365 days but i am worried about heat loss in the winter the showe...

update on quarantine build should be ready for the glassing in a couple of days just waiting for the filler to dry on the kinspan and then tape the joints. thinking of doing my own fiberglassing :shock: have a friend from five acres koi who does glassing coming to start me off for the first hour or ...

another option would put a t piece on the bottom drain pipe and have two systems
system 1 bottom drain eazypod then bead through heater over the top return.
system 2 bottom drain straight over the shower.
what do you think!!!

hi justin & eds so your both saying ditch the bead filter go straght from the eazy pod over the shower this could be a option would only have to change a couple of pipes the finnished system should be around 1700 gallons. so what pump do you think i could use a sequence 12000 would this be ok af...

i am using one line of filtration the pump will be a 10,000 litre i know this is not the required turnover for the shower but i want to save on the running cost's of the quarantine.

think i am going to use bhm should be plenty of filltration on the new qt bottom drain to eazy pod then a biomax 25 bead filter then a shower.

hi jon no i am hopeing that the 6 feet 6" x 2 feet 6" window at the front of the garage will allow enought light in also the white upvc cladding should reflect the light back into the water if not i have a light just outside of the tank which i could put a daylight tube in i would not like...

yes the roof is going to have a layer of kingspan then some batten then upvc cladding also the back wall will be kingspan and cladding above the pond trying to make a room so i do not have to heat all of the garage!!
