Having a sieve before hand reduces the filter from having to back wash everyday. if you do install it on your pond and dont have a pre filter Sieve or vortex ...

Started the Modification on pond today.

Will give you a update on how well it went and how the sequence pump is performing on the BBF.

Just put the bakki shower in place this morning and making sure I have all the pipework and valves, connects, etc.

Spoke with Mike Snaden of Yumekoi about the bakki shower and he thinks that by using my aquamax 10000 from my skimmer would give me around 1600 gallons to the shower from my skimmer. Richidon Koi use a BBF7 with a sequence 18000s and it is fine, apparantly they get around 3500 gallons a hour. They s...

This is supplying my BBF7 Bubble Bead filter that will take at max flow of 5600 gallons a hour. I do need to bypass the filter by around 10% as recommended by bubble bead to preve...

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking of using a Sequence 12000 pump. I dont think my Aquamax 10000 would be sufficient. I think they only pump around 1800 galls an hour. was hoping for around 2500 or 3000 gals an hour over the shower, but must make sure my skimmer would be able to cope as well! do...

My pond is 5000 gallons and at the momment I have 2 bottom drains that are linked to a Ultra sieve then onto a BBF7. I ...
