Were abouts is the best place to fix one,and to what is it connected up to??,also how much room does it take up,i don't have much room to play with in the filter housing,i can't run from the sides of the pond because there are footpaths running both sides so i don't really want to see a pipes going ...

My plan of action for the pond build
Evening all, well after what i deam to be careful planing,i've now come up with the design i want for my dads koi pond,the pond itself will be rectangle 8ft in length 5ft in width and 5ft in depth giving me 1250 gallons to play with,well i think thats what the pond will hold anyway.There will be one...

Thanks guys,the pond size is as follows,length 12ft but 4x5 foot will be used to house the filters in so actual length will be 8ft,width 5ft,depth 5ft,what if i were to put a fine mesh on the end of the pipe to catch most of the c..p,would that work,with less chance of my dads soakway blocking?

soakaway drain
Hi, would it be possible to connect the bottom drain pipework to the soakaway which runs from the house,the soakaway is only a couple feet away from were the pond will be,the soakaway is only used to drain water from the house roof it then runs underground in to my dads garden,will this soakaway cop...

Thankyou for your reply's,the only thing i'm not happy with is how all the pipework fits together,how much depth of concrete should i go for 6" or 9",bearing in mind the bottom drain pipe will be 4"in diameter.Also what would you recomend for covering the walls fibre glass or the stuf...
