Thanks for giving me some idea on how long it will take.

Also got an Easy Pod on the skimmer line so that'll be just as bad. The price we pay for an easy way to clean the filters!

I've just had one fitted to my pond and i was wondering if they took long to mature. At present my 4500 gallon pond is heated to 15degrees, obviously i can't afford to keep it at that during the winter.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions so far. I'm still not sure what i'm going for yet. I'm not intending using a shower as the pond walls are pretty much finished and i haven't planned anywhere for the shower to go. If i was to 'T' both drains into one and run them through a sieve then a bead f...

I'm currently having built a 4500g pond and now its come down to what filtration i should go for, so i'm looking for a little advice from the experts as i'm a complete novice! small koi in the Co Durham

Anyone have any smallish koi for sale so i can grow on over the forthcoming winter months. Looking for half a dozen different varieties or so to put into my growing on heated pond and see them grow.
