i am building a pond of simular size IMO i think kingspan of 25mm would be sufficient, but please be aware that trying to fiberglass over kingspan can get trickey especially if you have any water ingress . Water and fiberglass dont mix and i have had problems fiberglassing (trying to do it all mysel...

Solartwin is a company which makes solar pannels based on the same principal, using a photovolatic panal to generate power to pump water around the system.
