after reading the installation guide it says the 300 flow rate is 15000 litres per hour but the EA page shows 13000?? so I guess your pump should be ok. Is the isolation valve from the pond fully open to the 300? It could be a restriction after all as if the supply was free flowing i would still exp...

Is it possible that the pump is just too powerfull.

Will there really be a 2000 litres per hour reduction in the pipework after the pump?
