Gazza so you work both stuff in with cotton buds? or is the locnseal more just spreading on top after working the mrf1 in? Also how long do you leave to dry? Most importantly I always find when out of the pond the koi start to wake up after a couple of mins... is there a way to keep it under better ...

Alrtight got some mrf1 and locnseal + now. so can someone just clarify application, dry the area, apply mrf1, then what, then apply locnseal?

Thanks for posts guys much appreciated... yes looks very similar kimr. Yes when i first noticed the cheek damage and before i started koi clear i cleaned it out thoroughly with salt and pp, not hp, the wound looks clean to me or do you not think so? Do i want to be cleaning again? I agree re too muc...

So am off on holiday on mon which is an added annoyance so plan to ct @ 2g/100g wed, thurs, fri, inject amicin on wed, fri and sun...

koi clear five times in total having first cleaned it out, as i say when i last netted and treated it had changed little from the first pics then three days later its become very bloody and seems to have spread although not sure...swelling i think is going down but really not sure why its not winnin...

Ok so since started the topical regime have done four treatments in total two injections of amicacin and two susbsequent back to fortum again. Have been treating on sat, mid week then sat again intervals. I also pp'd the pond about 10 days ago to ensure it was clean and will chloramine t as advsed f...

Ponds at 24.5, so perhaps some ct might be an idea, otherwise i guess just carry on as im doing...

You can see the very small comparative slit on the second to last pic that statred on the inside which has pretty much healed, unfotunately it has spread outside

Ok here are the pics taken tonight during second treatment of koi clear and amicicin. I think the area is slightly improved since i cleaned it out properly, switched ab's and statred with koi clear but could be wrong... btw pics on the towle are after application of koi clear koi is just over 60cm b...

Syd thanks thats why i asked as i thought you might have a bit of experience with them. As it happens i have run the ro with one for a couple of years now and find it very good although it is one of the relatively expensive ones. Personally i found bicarb solution dosing impracticle as even with 200...
