We used Pink Grip here, found it for about a £1 a tube from memory online, I can find the link if you need it. Used about the same as Stuart i think, between 1/2 and 3/4 per 8x4 sheets.

Silver foil / aluminium tape works a treat and can be picked up from any diy centre, just helps smooth out a bit

That sounds better, after all i have the spec now so can just give that to someone else to deal with. Just got to find someone local to do it now....
