hi all,
dont matter what the didistat set to, all that does is put heat on/heat off signal. you should get a constant temp to your h exchanger. think you are right though, think i'm getting to much heat loss from boiler to heat exchanger.
thanks for the replies

heat exchanger temps
Hi all, was wondering what sort of temp you should expect from the return from the heat exchanger to the pond. only asking because just tested mine, comming from the xchager to the pond is only 1 degree higher than the actual pond itself.....is this right? (pond at 14, heat exchanger return 15). the...

Hi all, was wondering on your thoughts about gas or oil fired boilers? what do you think is cheaper, i know you have the problem of siting the oil tank but the actual cost of running an oil fired boiler compared to a gas fired fired boiler is it any cheaper, i think oil is at 46ppl at the moment but...

tacky fibreglass
Hi all, can water be added to tacky fibreglass? or do you have to completely wait until the gel coat has gone off? reason being is that we are up against a rising water table and it keeps lifting the resin and matting up by a long way. so was thinking if the water is drained from below then resealed...

hi all,
with the cost of fuel going up and up i am wanting to insulate the walls before fibreglassing rather than render.
do you guys know if its possible to glass over kingspan or is there an alternative insulation as i have been told its not possible?

Re: Eazy pod
Hi,
would say it would work fine as your mechanical filtration but as the bio stage im not so sure. if you is on a tight budget why not fork out for a fluid bed filter to go after the pod, think you can get them for around 70 squid plus they have a very small footprint also

Im now on my second pond build (and hopefully last) which is also going to be block built and rendered. Are you g...
