Re: Nexus 300 probs
Yesterday, drained it down removed all K1,removed it from its position had a good look around it ,turned it up side down! nothing appears to be abnormal. Purged bottom drain ,satisfied that there are no restrictions there. Put it back into position connected up and switched on,initially it ran as I w...

Re: Nexus 300 probs
Hi Dave My BD is def set to a generous 2" clearance,I am expecting a long day tomorrow draining it down giving it a good going over ! I intend also to dismantle the pipe work back to the rubber boot and purge the drain to see what happens. I do know that up until I closed down this Nexus when I...

Re: Nexus 300 probs
Carl,Dave, Not posted recently due to this particular Nexus being switched off, reason being it just got worse.the Bio section just kept getting lower and lower until it reached the point that it was at the bottom of the grid where the water returns. This suggests to me that the water is not transfer...

Re: Nexus 300 probs
Today i have taken out 50 litres approx of K1 made absolutely no difference ,it still doesn't turn over all the way around. Secondly I put on an old Aquamax 10000 in place of the Optimax 15000 the water level in the Nexus barely dropped an inch from the pond level

Not sure what you mean by "My starting point would be to double check that the domes haven't settled down on their stems. Pole with a suitable diameter stick at 90 degrees and you won't even get wet!!"

Re: Nexus 300 probs
Hi again, I have completed your suggestions: With the pump off the water level returns to pond level almost instantly, with the level in the Nexus up the K1 Bubbles all the way around. I have back flushed as Jules suggested, switched back on and the level drops to as was. I am coming to the conclusio...
