Hi i used to run an answer on my set up and always cleaned the screen with caustic soda (cheap from b&q) chuck the screen in a tub of warm water with the soda for half an hour and make sure you give it a good rinse after. If it can unblock drains it will clean a screen, Never had a problem with ...

it's actually the framework on the ibc's that take the weight not the plastic tank, But to be on the safe side i would empty from top first

tell them what size you need they will sort you out, they have done loads of window glass for people's ponds
from what i can remember around £85 laminated for a standardish size window

wood stain/paint

hi
Be careful what you stain them with as most wood stains are NOT safe for aquatic use. Give a company called West Country Finishes a call on (01626) 867973. All thier paints are non toxic and safe for use around ponds.
