Re: Advice please replacement for BADU TOP 14
Thanks. I will go and have a look at my flow rate and get back to you. Perhaps I misread it and should have said 3500 gals per hour! The pond is 10,000 gals so I am stil guessing but that would be about the right turn over... I think!!

Re: Opinion on Aquadyne model 2.2B and UV1 U10 UV unit
Des, I have an aquadyne 4.4c and uv ( uv 2), on a 10,000 gal pond and agree the bulb is expensive: £70 to replace each year. What internet site do you get yours from please? As to the aquadyne generally, very good, easy to fit and clean. Pump used ( Badu top 14), is a bit juicey to use though. Adrian

Re: Answer replacement
Thanks Gazza,
What you seem to be doing in the last picture is cutting the ortex in half using mating. Is that right? Your first picture loks like static K1 on one side of the vortex. Am I making sense?

Re: Answer replacement
Sounds like a good idea to take out the little bits before the filter. Any pictures please as being a bit thick I cant visualise it.
Thanks Adrian

Hi, I would not be without my window. Yes it goes green but a brush with a soft broom soon soughts it out. However the main reason for the window is to allow me to easily see underneatrh the Koi and check for problems. The glass magnifies any spots etc so they can be checked for healing and presence...
