Re: mucus
Personally if scrapes were clean I wouldn't be rushing to add anything to the pond.
I would observe, take a few more scrapes in the coming days/ weeks and see if anything pops up on the scrapes.

Re: Trickle in trickle out
Yo Dunc, I for one am an RO user.. Yes it might be placebo but I'd far prefer to run a pH nearer 7 than the source of 8.2+. 100% agree on stability, particularly on the pH ... and it takes a little work in gaining an understanding how the system works but I see that knocking the background Ammonia d...

Re: Trickle in trickle out
Personally I think the biggest benefit is in terms of stability of the water. Pollutants are being created all the time... why not remove them on an equivalent rate? At a slow rate canister filters are a load more effective. Are you able to clean your filters without having to top up to keep them an...

Re: Any Tips for superglue?
Quite a mess..
Proposed plan of action was treat, isolate, make sure I have some hardness in the water and then CT and salt at 1/2oz a gallon..

Any Tips for superglue?
Had an accident with a fish Friday, jumped from a vat.. Managed to revive him after a good while. Collateral in terms of scale loss on one flank shouldnt be a problem but we have two full splits in the tail. I have sutures, never had great success with superglue, even drying things out well have fou...

Thanks Guys
There was a tad of Costia in there 10 days back, PP sorted the C but the Rotifers walked through it.
Will move the water hardness up and see what impact a jolt of CT has on them.
