Re: Heat Exchanger (How Does Work)

Hi Taggs The problem will be either your pond stat or the motorized valve. ( with the power off  ) Pop the cover the wiring center that the black 5 core wire from the MV goes into (switch power back on) and check that you have 230vt to the brown wire, this is the switch live coming back from y...

Re: new pond build

As Thorny has eluded

DonRich ( anagram ) drains are the best by far.

Currently building a new pond, well digging a new pond at the moment, 2 new DonRich drains here already.

Kind regards

Re: One of this years brood

Hi Dave

Trust you and your good lady are well.

The bottom one may well turn out Goshiki, and if so, what a cracker.

Tatigoi, well why not.

Regards

Andy

PS, Good luck, with this years breeding program

Re: One of this years brood

Hi Dave Looks like the babies are coming on. If you want to introduce some size into your breeding program, I have a Momotario male kohaku, that you can have. Got caught in the skimmer when I was in Japan ( greedy bugger ), lost a good few scales at the time and I thought I was going to loose the fi...

Re: Olympic skimer

Hi Dave

I has the same problem with my skimmer line, when using a sequence 1/4 plus.

I had to cut out the 42mm center, using a hole cutter, then fit a standard 50mm tank or side drain fitting, then came of with 50mm pipework.

Works a treat :D

Hope this helps.

Hi Dave Couldn't you use the back wall of the shed, 100mm pipe or two, to the pond, then build a frame and cover with whatever. My pond  plains are all in place, just got to raise the 15 grand that it will cost. My good lady has agreed to me nicking 15ft of the back of the garden, so it will b...

Hi Dave I know of a chap who will make the showers, made to measure. All in 316 ( will I think it's 316 ) stainless steel, so you may be able to get the showers made rather than lift the roof of the shed. I am also preety sure he could make a shute, that incorporates a 100mm U.P.V.C tank connector, ...
