I can't explain the difference Stuart, but I think the Chloride one is less toxic, never used it myself so not sure of the benefits, hoping Dunc will shed some light on this.

Ahhh thanks Dunc, I was thinking that because they were both oxidisers they would both strip mucus. Sorry for butting in on the thread Dandj.

Hi Dunc, maybe a daft question but if malachite is used for a soothing effect after formalin, why isn't it used after or with KmNo4?

Hi Syd, Difficult question to ask when we know the correct route us Koi keepers should take, but.... I would sugest maybe a 50% water change along with a clean out of any debris in the system and then a dose of CT, this could be repeated if signs of improvement are shown. Hi Bob,

My new build is not far off being completed and I know it will work just fine :lol: because the old pond still runs like a dream 6 years on, time flys :roll:

As for the benching of the base, 1/2" per foot will do just fine. Now get on with building one lol :D
