Hi,
As everything to do with koi you will get different opinions.
I have a pond which base is approx 5mx2m. I have not benched mine and with 120l going through a b/d I have no problem with any settlement.
It works for me :D

Timer for a 6kw heater?

Hi,

Just received my first electric bill since finishing and heating my new pond!!

So now I'm looking for a timer so I can heat during the night (E7)

I have a 6kw heater so I need a timer that can handle that wattage.

Any suggestions? :?

Hi Dave (Happy days!!) Welcome to the forum. I, like DaveJ, went with foam sheets (Kingspan). There is no way my limited DIY skills could stretch to rendering, so I would have had to pay to have my pond rendered. But I can stretch to nailing foam sheets to a wall! :D Which were then fibreglassed by ...

Hi Dave, I have spoken to several glass manufacturers they have all suggested that the thickness of the glass depends on the depth of the window, the distance between the surface of the pond and the top edge of the window. Mine is 250mm and they recommended 17mm thickness. They laminate the glass in...
